The McCoy Media Group has joined forces with The Frederick News Post to create a brand new television network for and about Frederick County. Broadcast daily on Cable Channel 10, Frederick TV currently consists of two half-hour programs: Your Frederick Home, & Frederick 360. A third show, A Healthy Frederick, goes into production later this month, with a launch date planned for early August 2007. In addition to airing limited-run programs of interest to County residents in the coming months, Frederick TV is currently test-marketing 2 other programs to round out the network's growing line-up by year's end. Our goal is to create programming that is relevant, timely and entertaining. Our entire philosophy is based on our belief that everyone has a story to tell that can educate, edify or entertain someone else. We need you to tell us about the things that interest you. Hook us up with the inspiring, the brave and the unusual people you know. No one can help us celebrate this wonderful County like those of us who have chosen to call it "home." We can't promise coverage to every suggestion, but we will give each idea respectful consideration.
We're open to all story ideas & suggestions, but to start us off, I need fodder for a special segment I want to feature on Your Frederick Home with the working title of either "Best Kept Secrets," "Backroads Frederick," or "Off the Beaten Track." I'm looking for interesting places, spots, stores, locales that you feel more people should know about....
Someone care to start us off?

Hi Joanne, I'd love to "start off" your programming! I'm an accredited staging professional with a yen for having a television presence. If you've seen real estate design shows on HG or A&E, that's what I do. I work with home owners to prepare their house for the market. The topic intrigues everyone and the timeliness is golden. I'm originally from Rochester, NY where I had the good fortune to appear on local programming five times and created two half-hour "before/after" shows myself. I'd love the opportunity to discuss this in more detail...It's Showtime! www.itsshowtime.net
